Organisation Pinksterlanddagen 2010 launched

The organization of the Pinksterlanddagen, the annual anarchist festival traditionally takes place in Appelscha, is launched. In Utrecht and Zwolle have been the first meeting place of the national preparatory group. The days are country this year from Friday 21 to Monday, May 24th at camp 'to Freedom Reflection ", the permanent home of the days.

The Pinksterlanddagen have a long tradition dating back to 1927 when the first anarchist youth from the northern provinces organized this meeting. In 1933 the campsite in Appelscha purchased by workers and it is there that the days since then occur. The days are annually attended by some 500 people and characterized by an excellent atmosphere. Two years ago the 75th anniversary of the days and celebrated the campsite.

Next year, it is the 77-th time anarchist Netherlands Appelscha find each other. Meanwhile a framework in twisted together, are the first contacts and are the first applications for the provision of program components inside.

This year the challenge if we succeed in finding a suitable program for the open-air theater that was restored to its former glory. For the Pinksterlanddagen 1933 took place on this. From the PL will again be provided radio broadcasts while also intended that Internet workshop is restored which can also directly written report may be made of what is happening on the days.

Various groups and individuals will be asked to contribute content. A preliminary classification made for the cultural program. On Friday, a film program will be shown. The preparatory group urges groups and individuals who want to contribute to the Pinksterlanddagen in 2010, through to the following address to register. We particularly ask for tips and theater programs, substantive program elements, special music groups and all that is worth more to public submissions. (For clarity, however, we can not guarantee that suggestions will be accepted!)

It should be emphasized that everyone can play a role in the Pentecostal Country Days, organizational or practical under the motto "Do What". No freedom without responsibility!

The days will be held at the campsite 'Freedom to Reflection', in Appelscha Aekingaweg 1a. The site is accessible by public transport with line 16 from the train stations Assen and Heerenveen. The cost for the PL amounts only 12.50 euros. It was included camping, so do not forget your camping gear. Contingency plan for the hot bite that makes everyday needs help for cutting and washing. To do this you vouchers to buy separately. The catering in the cafeteria offers coffee, tea and sandwiches. All products are of biological origin.
